Ultimate Badminton Experience Itinerary
Below is an example itinerary based on our Ultimate Badminton Experience. Trips can be personalised to suit individual preferences, so you are welcome to create your own experience including some of the elements outlined below.
Tuesday 6th May 2025
- Optional transfers/train from Heathrow to Bath (if required)
- Afternoon at leisure
- Enjoy dinner & welcome drinks at the hotel in the evening
Wednesday 7th May 2025
- Enjoy a light breakfast at the hotel
- Following breakfast you'll be transferred to Badminton
- Upon arrival we'll have a hosted talk with some of the stars including William Fox-Pitt.
- Watch the Trot-up at the course
- Upon conclusion you'll be transferred back to the hotel and have the evening at leisure.
Thursday 8th May 2025
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel
- Following breakfast you'll be transferred to Badminton
- Enjoy the Dressage from your designated seats in the grandstand
- Upon conclusion you'll be transferred back to the hotel and have the evening at leisure.
Friday 9th May 2025
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel
- Following breakfast you'll be transferred to Badminton
- Upon arrival we'll have a course walk with Alice Plunkett and William Fox-Pitt
- Enjoy lunch in the members enclosure
- Enjoy the Dressage from your designated seats in the grandstand
- Upon conclusion you'll be transferred back to the hotel and have the evening at leisure.
Saturday 10th May 2025
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel
- Following breakfast you'll be transferred to Badminton
- Enjoy lunch in the members enclosure (optional upgrade to Portcullis Hospitality, £300pp)
- Enjoy all the action from the Cross Country
- Upon conclusion you'll be transferred back to the hotel and have the evening at leisure.
Sunday 11th May 2025
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel
- Following breakfast you'll be transferred to Badminton
- Enjoy lunch in the members enclosure
- Enjoy the Show Jumping from your designated seats in the grandstand
- Upon conclusion you'll be transferred back to the hotel and have the evening at leisure.

About the Badminton Horse Trials
Badminton Horse Trials is one of the toughest and most exciting equestrian events – the pinnacle of the worldwide horse trials calendar.
International horse trials are given a star grading according to their level of difficulty. Badminton is a 5* event, the highest grade and one of only 6 such events in the world. Badminton is the oldest (1949) and is generally regarded as the most prestigious event.
Horses and riders complete the competition over 4 days, each day consisting of a different discipline, Dressage on Thursday and Friday, Cross Country on Saturday before the finale Show Jumping on Sunday.
